Oxie, based in Nantes, France, is a pioneering company founded by Marta Agrech in 2023.
It focuses on empowering companies to strengthen their social and environmental impact within their local communities. As the first co-financing platform for nature-based solutions specifically designed for businesses, Oxie helps companies enhance their sustainability efforts through measurable outcomes, including CO2 emissions reduction and compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Marta Agrech, with a background in International European Law, was inspired by a November 2022 article authored by Harvard and Oxford professors that suggested, « We should be counting carbon like we count money. » After extensive research, Marta founded Oxie to promote ecological sustainability and transparency while ensuring financial viability. Her vision is to drive awareness and encourage corporate responsibility in building a more sustainable world.
